The Emonra Zinc Guard ZG151 cold galvanizing coating in bright zinc-gray is a premier solution for protecting metal surfaces from corrosion and harsh environmental conditions. Manufactured by the renowned Emonra brand and imported from Australia, this product meets the stringent ASTM quality standards with a zinc content of 95% after drying, certified by Quartest 3. Its exceptional electrochemical corrosion resistance makes it highly effective in marine environments and against chemical exposure, ensuring long-lasting durability for metal surfaces. As a result, Zinc Guard ZG151 has become a trusted choice for construction projects and industrial applications requiring robust and reliable protection.
Emonra Zinc Guard ZG151 Cold Galvanizing Paint, Light Zinc Grey is a premium product imported from Australia under the Emonra brand. It is certified by Quartest 3 for its zinc content, which reaches 95% after drying (ASTM standard). This paint is renowned for its excellent anti-corrosion properties, making it highly effective in marine and chemical environments. It is widely trusted by consumers for its performance.
PRODUCT FEATURES:
The ZG151 paint is dense due to its high zinc content, with 1L weighing approximately 2 - 2.1 kg.
Available in a convenient spray bottle for quick and easy application.
The zinc content in the coating achieves 95%, providing corrosion protection equivalent to hot-dip galvanizing. (Meets ASTM E1645-01 standard with 95.24% zinc content, certified by Quartest 3 with certificate number KT3-09386MT6 issued on 23/09/2016).
Acrylic-based, allowing for quick drying in 5-10 minutes (at 25°C).
Resistant to temperatures as low as -20°C.
Can withstand temperatures up to 300°C.
Highly resistant to scratches and abrasion.
Performs well in chemical environments, fertilizers, marine environments, and high-temperature conditions.
Can be used as a primer (single coat) or as a topcoat (two coats) to achieve a bright zinc finish equivalent to hot-dip galvanizing.
Can be combined with other traditional paints (acrylic or epoxy) to achieve desired colors.
APPLICATIONS:
Restores surfaces previously hot-dip galvanized that have been corroded, welded, cut, or drilled.
Provides galvanizing on-site or in production facilities without the need for hot-dip galvanizing.
Common applications include utility poles, streetlight poles, parabolic towers, radar stations, telecommunications towers, port structures, warehouses, fences, offshore equipment, tanks, pipelines, bridge railings, galvanized steel sheets, machinery, power transformer stations, electrical transmission, high-voltage power grids, and oil and gas plants.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Clean the surface of grease, dust, and dirt using industrial alcohol or gasoline, ensuring the surface is completely dry.
Remove rust from the surface using a sandblasting gun, grinding machine, or specialized rust removal solutions.
For spray bottle application:
Shake the bottle well for 45 - 60 seconds to ensure thorough mixing of the solution.
Spray evenly onto the surface from approximately 30 cm away.
Apply a thin coat and allow it to dry quickly in 15 minutes before the paint fully cures in 24-36 hours. You can apply a second coat after 12-24 hours.
After spraying, remember to turn the spray bottle upside down and spray for 2-3 seconds to clear the nozzle and prevent clogging.
For can application with brush or roller:
Stir the solution thoroughly for at least 10 - 15 minutes to ensure an even mixture.
You can add solvent (xylene, toluene, or Japanese gasoline) at a ratio of 5-10% by volume (for brushing or rolling), or 10-15% by volume (for spraying).
Apply one coat to the product requiring galvanizing. After 15 minutes, the surface will be dry to the touch, and the paint film will be fully dry in 12-24 hours.
A second coat can be applied after 12-24 hours.
Clean painting tools (brush, roller, or spray gun) for future use.
